I’m going to try and roll these podcast posts out from here on out. On this pod we open up with a special tribute to Aaron Mahnke’s podcast Lore. From word of mouth, friend to friend, his podcast made it’s way to us and infected our brains. Captured by the stories, we decided to have our 2nd Halloween themed podcast!
We hop into some discussions about the stories he’s told and then branch off into talking about how we would like our bodies handled post mortum, humane space suicide (and the regrets that come with it), human burial trees. Also some youth experiences with older cousins and parents telling us the basements were haunted and the Goat Man was coming to take the ladies away.
We get into our beliefs in ghosts and what they are. Hint, hint, it’s a semi-scientific explanation, which means it’s heresay. Our want to believe is there, but we also need to see it for ourselves. The brain is a powerful tool. Paired with your eyes, the brain is capable of making the most unbelievable… believable.
Knowles wraps up our pod with an interesting personal story that is really quite astounding and may make a believer out of you.
